Important Information For Your Stay

Is there cell service or wifi?

No. There is no cell service or wifi at Gold Lake Lodge. We have a landline that guests can use in the case of an emergency. You can either hike up to the PCT or head down to Graeagle town to get cell service.

Do you have a recommended offline mapping system?

Yes! Our team uses Maps.me for offline satelite mapping. Download the app and the Chico, California, USA local area map before you arrive. The app will map you on trails similar to your usual GSP system. This can also be helpful for the final bit of your drive if your cell service stops working, you can route to the lodge at 7000 Gold Lake Highway, Graeagle, CA 96103.

Do I need to bring any toiletries, bedding or towels with me?

No. All cabins and tent cabins are fully furnished with bars of soap, toilet paper, bedding and towels. We ask that you bring a beach towel for swimming / going to the lake.

Do the cabins have fridges?

No. We kindly ask that any food you plan on bringing with you can be stored in a sealed container (ie a cooler, ziplock bags, etc) to keep the chipmunks away!

Do the cabins have electricity?

Yes. All of the cabins and tent cabins are fully equipped with electricity and running water.

Is the water potable?

Yes! All of our water comes direclty from a fresh mountain spring, every water source in camp is potable.

Can I fill my RV water tank here?

No. Unfortunatley, due to the fact that our water source is limited we are unable to provide large amounts of water to campers or guests. We are happy to refill a water bottle before or after your hike though!
